Dallas Councilwoman Speaks Out for Gay Rights
Outgoing Dallas Councilwoman Angela Hunt spoke out for gay rights at Wednesday morning’s Dallas city council meeting.
She’s talking about a resolution, supporting gay marriage and LGBT employment protections, that was brought forward by councilman Scott Briggs. Council could have voted on it Wednesday, but it didn’t make it to the agenda.
Dozens of gay rights supporters showed up Wednesday to make sure council knows they aren’t happy about it.
